Andrew Nalder

Andrew brings more than two decades of hands-on experience in sales, marketing and entrepreneurship to Sell on Shopify. Over his career he's worked across a wide range of industries — clothing, cars, software, business equipment and character merchandise — and built up a real knack for helping retailers find what makes them unique.
In the late 1990s, Andrew acquired a small digital print business called Dpod, growing it from a $350k operation into an $11 million marketing communications company offering print, creative, video, photography and web. After 14 years at the helm he sold Dpod to the Image Centre Group, having transformed it into a full-service creative hub.
Andrew launched Sell on Shopify after a decade of running his own Shopify stores — peddling everything from nappies to kids' fashion to toys. He spent those years learning, in painful real time, what actually works on Shopify and what doesn't: the products, the apps, the marketing, the operations. He now uses that experience to help other NZ retailers skip the mistakes he had to make first.
Today he heads up Sell on Shopify with a practical, straight-talking approach. He enjoys helping clients uncover their true value proposition and translating big-business commercial thinking into Shopify stores that actually convert.

Andrea is a digital marketing and ecommerce specialist with a strong background in helping retail brands grow, both online and in store. As the owner and ecommerce manager of The Toy Box, she's built and scaled a successful online business — handling everything from Shopify operations and Klaviyo email marketing to digital advertising and retail process optimisation.
She's particularly skilled at setting up and running effective email marketing campaigns that help Shopify brands connect with their customers and drive repeat business. She also has a knack for the operational side of Shopify — making sure systems, integrations and processes all run smoothly behind the scenes.
Her expertise goes beyond her own store. Andrea regularly consults for other NZ retailers, working closely with them to improve their Shopify setup, streamline marketing automation, and fine-tune retail systems for better results. She's passionate about creating seamless customer experiences, building strong brand communities, and finding practical ways to drive business growth.
